Living in Jackson Woods
A pedestrian-friendly subdivision where everything is within reach.

Where is Jackson Woods?
Jackson Woods is a subdivision in Parkdale. It sits in Uptown Belleville, close to the city’s commerce and entertainment district. While the community may seem remote (insofar as it borders a wooded area), it contains a walking trail that connects to North Front Street and uptown amenities. In other words, you have the option of ditching the car when you run errands.

Who Lives Here?
A lot of retirees call the area home, though we’ve seen more of a mix of buyers in the last few years. There’s a rare pride of ownership here, which is visible even to those who take a casual drive through the area.
Jackson Woods' Real Estate
Jackson Woods has a lot of standard subdivision-sized lots with mature yards. There are also many modern options, including townhouses, condos, and single-family homes built by Dorann, Geertsma, and Hilden.
More About Jackson Woods?
It may be an odd thing to bring up, but there are a lot of culs-de-sac here. The good news is, they really cut down on the noise from local traffic.
The walkability of Jackson Woods means pretty much everything residents need is at their fingertips. If you’re in the area, there are some must-try local businesses you’ll want to check out. These include Reid’s Dairy (for one of their famous cones) and Quinte Mall (to do some shopping). Check out the Belleville Curling Arena if you partake in the most Canadian of sports, and the local casino if you need a night out.
Jackson Woods & Trail is located at the North end of Heartwood Drive.
